Best Daytime Soap of the 1990s we've done the 80s, how about the 90s?

No doubt that AMC from '90-'96 was amazing...therefore I say AMC hands down.
I actually didn't think 1997 was that bad. The only part I found totally boring was that one secret wife that Pierce had from Central America. McT didn't start until late 1997. Her first story back was Bianca's anorexia. I thought that story was pretty good - even though I found the actress that played Bianca then totally annoying. McT's stuff didn't really start to stink until about the middle of 1998. I don't know if this means anything, but this was also the time when Francesa James was fired as EP and Jean Dadario Burke came in. I always wondered what McT's second stint would have been like if FJ stayed on. AMC won 'Best Drama' and 'Best Writing' (tied with Y&R) for 1997 at the 1998 Daytime Emmys.
So I think other than 1998 and 1999, AMC was the best in the '90s.

Hmmmmm..... this one was tough, because 90's was reallly a shining decade for alot of Soaps (except Passions) but I gotta say Days, it was really rockin. That was when JER was at his best.
My second choice would have been AMC for sure, it was really excellent during the nineties as well.
Third would have been a tie between OLTL and GH, can't choose between those.

Definitely DAYS without a doubt!
It was right behind Y&R for the most part of the 90s. Reilly was at his best back then.
Stefano DiMera
Marlena/John/Kristen
Sami/Austin/Carrie/Lucas
The Banks Quadruplets
The Secret Room
Possession
Kristian Alfonso's return as "Gina"
Aremid
Masion Blanche
Celeste Perrault
Lexie as discovered as a DiMera
Kate/Victor/Vivian
Buried Alive!
All of those made DAYS the show that it is today. It was one of, if not the most talked about show of that decade. Everyone loved Days of our Lives and the show was receiving Emmy nominations back then as well.

Critically the 90's belonged to Y&R & GH who were both at the top of their game in critical success in the 90's. Days had some great creative moments too, but nowhere even near the class of both GH & Y&R during those years.
Popularity it belonged to Days and GH.
I voted for GH because it was tops in both categories.
