I agree with WorldTurner and Amazing.

The only show that seems to have any ratings spark is Days. And Days during the holidays generally does very well..

I would like to see Y&R hit 4.0 on any given day- that would be cool..

I have been wrong the last two weeks but I say THIS is the week that AMC and OLTL hit 1.9 again.

I haven't seen too much bad news from the soaps since October so December has been the best month in a while for all 8 of the soaps. Its been a long time since I've seen the soaps this healthy in a non-sweep month so hopefully the soaps at least stabilize this week or drop very small. I honestly don't see the growth for the soaps again until the week of January 5, 2009.

I've got a weird feeling Y&R got a 4.0 last week, this show is on fire right now and the 3.9s its been getting are bound to turn into 4.0s at some point.

ATWT is getting back on track too so it should be up or stablized. B&B, I'm worried about with that sick storyline.

For the ABC Soaps, I see the same ratings for this week as there's really not too much going on during that week.

DAYS amazing turn around year to year is an amazing story and the 43 year old soap is getting hotter and hotter reaching 3+ million viewers for the first time last week. DAYS benefits from staying new during the holidays except New Year's Day last week for the pre-empted great hockey game from Wrigley with the Blackhawks and Red Wings, which got a huge 2.9 rating with almost 5 million viewers.

Wednesday and Thursday of that week are non-existent.

Only GH and OLTL didn't receive a holiday bump in viewers. Most soaps stayed the same compared to last week or were up slightly in households. DAYS and AMC only soaps to increase year-over-year in viewers. Interestingly, with the exception of GL, DAYS and AMC are the only soaps facing real cancellation possibilities.
