Yeah, well, I'm glad I didn't know that before watching the mid-season finale. Figures. And again---the only person who remains "dead dead" is Tommy. WTFever. Cassidy is a weak actress, and whatever they want to do won't make her a better one.
Am I the only one who recognizes the voice of Prometheus, Michael Dorn? Or am I just imagining things?
I had bet that Tyler Ritter's character was Prometheus. Given that Felicity always seems to fall for superheroes, I thought this time she'd fallen for a supervillian, out to use her. So his death was a surprise. The rest---I don't really care as much about. It's way too soon for me to care about Evelyn's betraying Ollie, Curtis' husband leaving him, or Ragman and Wild Dog sitting there like lumps trying to assimilate it all.
I like the idea of someone from Ollie's past coming looking for revenge, but it seems like a cheat for it to be some previously unknown name from the list's son. Of course, knowing this show, that's probably mostly a ruse, and it's really the reporter, list guy's daughter. And I'm kind of over another round of Ollie blaming himself for everything.
As for the alien thing---yeah I knew about the tie to the comics. I just don't care. Aliens don't "fit" Arrow as much as they do Flash or Supergirl. And Arrow is the show I'm most tied to. I had some issue getting to see the episodes, and Arrow is the only one of the four I had any desire to watch.
I bet it was the same woman on Danfling's board that was posting on Media Domain. She would go on and on about dialogue between Chris & Snapper, Leslie & Lorie etc...like she had episodes she was viewing in front of her. People would ask her were she was seeing those and she would never reply. There was one poster there too that was a guy and he had memory like an elephant. He could remember all these detailed scenes and dialog that happened 30 plus years ago and could answer question about Y&R's past at the drop of a hat.
I don't know what happened to Media Domain. I remember it just disappeared. It was a fun board to read. Youtube is bad to pull Y&R material. I remember those handful of 1975 episodes being on there and then pulled within a month. I'm always seeing daytime game shows, commercials etc from tape recording from the late 70's, but never any Y&R from that time.
My theory: many on the right dismiss climate change as a hoax, because admitting that it is real would force the country and the world to rely on alternative sources of energy, which would devastate the coal, gas and oil industries. So, money talks.
Hairspray was pretty good. It's always going to be a solid show and Harvey Fierstein at this point can do it in his sleep effortlessly. Jennifer Hudson was very good. The rest of the leads were not as good for the most part although whoever played Traci did a good job. Link, Seaweed and Corny were a little weak. Martin Short is a decent singer.
