INT. HOSPITAL EXAM ROOM #4 - AFTERNOON

Cutter has just been wheeled in on a gurney. Natalie is right beside him. The doctor walks in. We see his name tag. The name tag says: Dr. Daniel Wolek.

Natalie:

Cutter..., its me; Natalie I'm right here with you.

Cutter:

Nikki?

Cutter starts seizing. Nurses and Doctors rush in.

Daniel:

You need to wait out in the waiting room!

Natalie walks out of the room, just as Bo walks up.

Bo:

How is he?

Natalie:

He started seizing.

Bo:

Did he say anything about what could have happened to him at the apartment?

Natalie:

All he said was... Nikki.

Bo:

Do you think she could have shot him?

Natalie:

It's very possible.

Bo:

Why do you say that Natalie? What would be Nikki's motive for this?

INT. SHELTER - AFTERNOON

Rama is standing behind the bar, cutting a lemon. Nikki rushes down the steps and behind the bar.

Rama:

Someone is in a hurry.

Nikki:

I over slept.

Nikki puts an apron on, and starts cleaning glasses. Vimal walks up.

Vimal:

Get a little to hammered last night, did we?

Nikki:

No, that wasn't the case. Okay enough chit-chat lets get to work for the party tonight.

Blair walks up to the bar from the stage.

Blair:

There is not going to be a party tonight. No way in hell, will there be one.

Rama:

Blair, why not? This party could pull in the big bucks, so fast! You know that.

Blair:

Listen, I just got a call from Bo. He's just informed me that Cutter's been shot.

Nikki has a worried look on her face

INT. CONNIE'S BOUTIQUE- AFTERNOON

PJ and Starr walk into the store. She notices that Dani and Destiny are shopping. They walk over to them.

Starr:

Hey guys. Destiny I love that dress.

Destiny:

Thank you, Starr. So..., who's your friend?

Starr:

Oh! this is PJ. PJ this is my friend Destiny, and my sister Dani Manning.

PJ:

Hi, it's nice to meet you both of you.

Dani:

Wow! How'd you get a scar like that? That's worse than Starr and I's dad.

PJ:

Um..., it was nice meeting you both. Starr, I think I'm going to have to cancel on going to that party with you. I am VERY sorry, but I've got some place I need to get to. Right away!

PJ walks out of the store.

Dani:

Was it something I said?

Starr:

I have no idea.

Destiny:

Hey guys, I just got a text saying that the party tonight at Shelter has been cancelled.

INT. BUCHANAN MANSION - AFTERNOON

Teà is sitting on the couch. Nora gives her a cup of tea. Nora sits down.

Nora:

So, tell me what's so difficult about this case that you are working on.

Teà:

Oh! Where do I begin? I know the guy is guilty of the murder, but the DA's office has hardly any proof to convict him.

Nora:

Who is he anyways?

Teà:

Zack Rosen

Nora:

Zack Rosen?

Teà:

Yeah, why does the name ring a bell, every time I say it to someone?

Nora:

Well, Zack Rosen was one of the three men along with Todd and Powell who raped Marty in 1993.

Teà's phone goes off.

Teà:

Uh..., hold on just one second Nora. Teà Delgado!

Teà steps out of the living room.

Nora:

(Sighs) Zack Rosen.

INT. LLANVIEW HOSPITAL HALLWAY - AFTERNOON

Dr. Daniel Wolek has just walked out of the exam room. He walks over to Natalie.

Natalie:

How is he?

Daniel:

Natalie I'm sorry to report this, but he's slipped into a coma. He lost so much blood, and the gun shot was right below his left lung. I'm sorry. There's no good news to report at this time given.

Daniel walks off and Natalie falls to the ground and starts crying.

INT. WANDA'S PLACE - AFTERNOON

Kameron:

Aubrey, dad has a really good reason for coming to town to see you.

Aubrey:

What is he going to tell me? Let me guess, I was never good enough to be his daughter.

Kameron:

No, that's not it

Aubrey:

I'm pretty sure it's not to give me the daughter of the year award.

Kameron:

Dad's dying Aubrey, and he doesn't have that much time left. Which is why my mother moved back here to open her business. That way she can support herself after he's gone.

Aubrey:

What's wrong with him?

Kameron:

Dad has stage 4 terminal cancer. The doctor's say it's just a matter of time before he's gone.

INT. KAREN'S PENTHOUSE - AFTERNOON

Karen:

(Laughs) Oh Victoria Lord! You are still the same as before. Why do you believe what this newspaper happens to say? Yes I am working with a Buchanan. Sp what?

Viki:

You are double crossing me?

Karen:

No, I'm not working with Clint. I'm still going forward with our plan

Viki:

If you are not working with Clint; then what Buchanan are you working with?

Karen:

(Smerk) Wouldn't you like to know.

Viki:

I would. So, are you going to tell me or not?

Viki's phone goes off. She answers.

Viki:

Natalie, sweetheart..., sweetheart slow down I can't understand you. Oh I'm on my way.

Viki hangs up.

Karen:

Is something wrong?

Viki:

Oh! Wouldn't you like to know.

Viki walks out of the penthouse

INT. TODD'S OFFICE - AFTERNOON

Todd slams his phone down on the desk.

Victor:

Who pissed you off?

Todd:

Some damn ignorant ass threatening Blair.

Victor:

Well, what are you going to do about it?

Todd:

Nothing right now. I'm going to wait and see if anything strange happen. Besides, what are you doing here? What'd you come to Manning Enterprises for?

Victor:

I came by to let you know that Teà and I wouldn't be going to Blair's party tonight. See, Blair just texted me and told me that the party is off.

Todd:

Okay, that's fine with me. Why don't you find your way out of my office.

Victor opens the door. He turns his back.

Victor:

Oh and another thing. Your friend said hello.

Victor walks off.

Todd:

What friend?

INT. MATHEW'S APARTMENT - AFTERNOON

Mathew is sitting on his couch, with his laptop in his lap. He's messaging Noah.

Mathew:

Hey, how is it going in Toronto?

INT. BUCHANAN MANSION - AFTERNOON

Teà:

I have been working all these long hours, and for what? (Laughs) Nothing!?

Nora:

What happened?

Teà:

The DA's office decided to drop all charges. My client was released this morning

INT. PARK- AFTER NOON

Jack is walking in the park, when his phone goes off. He looks down at it. A hand goes over his mouth. He is shoved to the ground behind the bushes, with a body lying on top of him. Jack is struggling to get away.

Zack:

Yeah! struggle just like Marty Saybrooke did when I did this to her.

Zack puts his hand on Jack's butt.

Zack:

Time to get started.
